A crucial element of providing quality healthcare is effective communication. On a daily basis healthcare professionals are faced with a range of challenging situations requiring advanced communication skills. This module will help you:
Build upon existing communication skills
Practice using skills to elicit concerns and give person centred responses
Develop enhanced communication skills for dealing with complex and challenging situations
Enhance effective communication within your team
The first three days of the module incorporate many of the evidence based features and learning and teaching approaches tried and tested on the Connected漏 advanced communication skills programme with an emphasis on student participation. Attendance for the whole of these three days is essential to successfully complete the module.
The Student Finance service provides student loans to help pay for tuition fees and the cost of living, depending on your circumstances.
You'll be charged interest on your loan as soon as you take it out, but you only start repayments once you earn more than a certain amount - currently £21,000.
Repayments are based on how much you earn, not how much you've borrowed.
