About Accounting and Management, BA (Hons) - at Henley Business School, University of Reading
This programme will teach you about the management of agricultural and other land- based businesses and enterprises that are ancillary to agriculture. It will help you acquire the basic knowledge and skills to become a successful manager of a business, and develop your skills of critical observation and analysis through contact with a variety of interesting real-life businesses.
During the first two years you will gain a general insight into UK, European and world agriculture, and the foundations will be laid for a thorough understanding of the many aspects of production processes in agriculture. In the
Final Year, you will follow modules that have been designed to complete your understanding of business management as well as undertaking a special business related project which is presented as a dissertation and accounts for a significant part of your overall degree.
