Having completed a masters degree and agreed your research topic with a supervisor, you will continue to explore themes relating to our specialisms.
Your research will benefit from our interdisciplinary links with other institutions via the Centre for Russian, Central and East European Studies (CRCEES).
Attending research seminars and special lectures will be an important part of your doctoral journey. You will also have the opportunity to deliver papers of your own. The culmination of your work will be a thesis that makes a significant contribution to research in Russian and Slavonic Studies.

The partnership provides funding and training to support the professional and personal development of the next generation of arts and humanities doctoral researchers.
