Our primary years of education have the biggest impact on the person wegrow up to be.
Primary education is constantly evolving and changing. Our degree provides advancedteaching in response to changes in government initiatives, technology and society. Our accelerated degree takes two years to complete, by theend of which you will be highly knowledgeable on current primary educationtheory and practice.
During this time you will be taught by a range of specialists who usetheir links within primary education to deliver inclusive education. This willbe through taught sessions and online resources that support the diverse needsof all our students.
Our programme aims todevelop your awareness of the current practice in primary schools and early years settings.This includes developing critical analysis and a conceptual understanding of primary education. We educate our students to beindependent thinkers. During your twoyears with us, you will learn how to critically reflect upon the professionalpractice you embark upon. Here you will have the opportunity to apply thesemethods within primary education settings.
Our two year accelerated degreeis for you if you are looking to gain qualified teacher status by applying fora School Direct or PGCE following graduation. Similarly, our degree is ideal ifyou are considering becoming a high level teaching assistant, or seekingto progress into further study at Level 7.
Your time at university should be enjoyable and rewarding, and it is important that it is not spoilt by unnecessary financial worries.
