About Business Management, BA (Hons) - at University of Greenwich

This programme will equip you with the professional and practical skills that will enable you to become an effective manager of teams and individuals. You will develop the people management skills to confidently handle complex interpersonal interactions within changing business contexts.

You will study leadership and management skills, as well as business planning, ethics, cross-cultural management and the context and regulatory frameworks of business.

Career development

The programme will also enable you to enrich your learning through work experience. You will have the opportunity to complete a three or six-month internship as part of your studies.  You will also have the option to undertake a work placement, providing insight and practical skills which employers seek in graduates.

Employability

You will connect with employers through our dedicated Business School Employability Team who focus on developing your employment skills. They also provide you with CV support and will invite you to employment fairs to network with employers and recruiters from industries. The team was shortlisted for the Times Higher Education Leadership and Management Awards.

We are actively improving job prospects for graduates through the support we provide. According to survey findings, 93 per cent of 2014/15 Greenwich graduates looking for work were already in jobs or further study by January 2016.

Experience abroad

You can participate in the Erasmus+ international exchange programme. This will help improve your language skills and give you experience of living and working in another country. The Erasmus+ Scheme provides a grant towards the cost of studying abroad for a year.

Extracurricular activities

Our Greenwich Employability Passport scheme recognises and rewards your participation in additional activities such as part-time work, volunteering, student societies or industry guest lectures.

Business start-up

You will be encouraged to enter the university's Enterprise Challenge which rewards student entrepreneurship and innovation. Previous winners received a prize of 拢5,000 for their idea of developing an enterprise and study hub.
