Duringyour time with us, you will be introduced to the core areas of psychology andseek to understand mind and behaviour. This will be through hands-onexperimentation, observation and measurement. Onthis three-year degree, you will learn how to conduct, analyse and reportpsychological research through a series of guided-learning exercises. This culminates in an exciting,independent research project in your final year where you take the reignsbefore embarking on your career.
Youwill study the socio-psychological processes that shape our relationships witheach other. This includes both adults and children, observing perception,attention, memory and emotion. You will take alook at thebehaviour, personality and thought in children, as well as studying thedevelopment of language and the biological processes that underpin all humanbehaviour. And by the end of your degree you will have a firm understanding ofthe causes and treatment of abnormal behaviour.

Membership of the British Psychological Society*To be eligible for Graduate Basis for Chartered Membership (GBC), which is necessary to become a chartered psychologist, you must achieve at least a lower second class honours and must also pass the independent research project.
