You study the same programme as our Urban Planning BA Honours degree for your first three years, developing a thorough grounding in planning planning processes, city design, conservation, housing policy and more.
After Stage 3, you complete a year in planning practice, equipping you with valuable work experience and putting you on the fast track to Chartered Town Planner status.
You then return to university for your final year, specialising in either planning and regeneration, or environmental planning.
You develop highly practical knowledge through work with planning and planning-related organisations, as well as practitioner workshops.
You will have plenty of opportunities to get out and about, through frequent projects and field trips, and there are several opportunities to study planning in an international context.
