This relatively new programme is aimed at graduates from the engineering or scientific fields (or related discipline) and/or those with a number of years of manufacturing industry experience, who wish to acquire in-depth knowledge of this key specialism in order to progress their careers. This programme is particularly popular with international students as businesses worldwide strive to improve their sustainability performance.
MSc Sustainable Engineering provides students with the knowledge and skills to lead future industry and commerce in reducing their environmental impacts, thus supporting sustainable development. Both technology and management based, the programme confronts the challenges of sustainability in rapidly changing global manufacturing industries and provides students with the knowledge and technical skills to succeed in a variety of careers in industry, commerce or academic research. Also, this programme is accredited by the IED which means it provides a route towards becoming a Chartered Engineer.
