Our part-time Teacher Education in German is a four-year programme in an international setting which has been taught in the English language since 2016. The programme is designed for you to combine with your current career, whether that is already within education or in a completely different field. From the first year on, you work at a placement school as a teacher's assistant or tutor, both in the classroom and on the job at the internship school.
EU/EEA part-time fees for the academic year 2019/20 have not yet been confirmed. The fee listed here is for the academic year 2018/19 and is therefore subject to change.
If you want to apply to our Teacher Education in German programme, you need to have a secondary school diploma, and speak English at least at CEFR level B1. Your level of German should also be B1 CEFR. Non-native speakers of German will have to hand in a copy of their Goethe-Zertifikat B1 or higher in order to be admitted. Of course, love for German and teaching is a must!
