Combining different areas of engineering, structural engineers are responsible for the safety, design and efficiency of buildings and structures. They help to determine the strength and durability of structures, as well as their safety and impact on the surrounding environment. As a structural engineer, you will work across several different disciplines, gaining an understanding of the building and construction process from start to finish.
During a masters in Structural Engineering, you will build upon your knowledge and understanding already gained at undergraduate level, taking your skills to the next level. Some examples of modules you may study include:
