Do you aspire to become a professional scientist? If so, this course is designed with you in mind. It鈥檚 suitable if you鈥檙e a Mathematics graduate wishing to progress to PhD level studies in one of the sciences, or a Science graduate wishing to undertake a PhD in Mathematics. Equally, the course may be of interest if you have a reasonable mathematical background, and wish to learn about the interactions between Sciences and Mathematics.
The programme encompasses a breadth of pure and applied mathematics, and statistics. As an interdisciplinary MSc student, you鈥檒l also have the option to take modules in related sciences and social sciences, including Physics, Biology and Economics.
Most of our MSc postgraduates continue to PhD studies in Mathematics or other contributing subjects (in Warwick or a range of international institutions). Others pursue careers in business, finance, public service, teaching and related.
