Study
Norwich Business School's full-time MBA programme is an intensive 12 month course designed for managers who want to focus on developing themselves as future senior managers. It is also the UK's first MBA that jointly awards a Diploma in Management Consulting.
Structure
At the core of the full-time programme is an opportunity to deliver real management consultancy projects to client companies. These are group projects, with well-established businesses, that allow students to apply MBA knowledge, skills and competences to help an organisation achieve its goals, while developing teamwork and project management skills. Students are supported by project mentors and an intense consultancy skills training programme. You'll also have the opportunity to elect modules in areas where UEA has established a world-class reputation, such as Strategic Carbon Management, Brand Leadership and Economic and Finance Stream.
Teaching
This programme is led by approachable, expert staff and with small class sizes sharing and participation is encouraged. Norwich Business School place emphasise on the practical nature of what they teach and actively seek collaboration with local industry and commerce. UEA's combination of academic knowledge and its application will ensure you can develop the necessary skills to climb that career ladder successfully.
Employability
Starting annually in January, the AMBA accredited MBA will accelerate change in your career progression. A combination of the latest academic thinking and knowledge and a strong emphasis on its practical application creates a course of real value helping you realise your career aspirations in this industry. This MBA is known for the particularly strong professional student community which continues after graduation.
Applicants should normally have a first or second class Honours degree or equivalent, relevant postgraduate diploma or professional qualification. UEA are looking for MBA candidates who have a minimum of three years relevant managerial work experience. In exceptional circumstances, the requirement of a degree level qualification can be waived as candidates will be considered at the discretion of the course leader.
