About International Economics, MSc - at University of Birmingham

Globalisation of the world's economy means that international economics plays a fundamental role in a wide variety of careers. The MSc in International Economics is a taught graduate programme that provides specialised and advanced training in international economics, achieved through the delivery of specialised courses in trade theory, trade policy and econometrics. Reflecting our teaching and research strengths in this important area of economics, this MSc will give you a clear understanding of our world economy. Exposure to the various theoretical constructs and empirical analyses within this sub-discipline, as well as other core and optional modules, you will be equipped with the analytic and quantitative skills necessary to examine recent developments in the global economy - particularly those with implications for policy.

Entry requirements

Students need to have an IELTS score of 6.5 with no less than 6.0 in any band.
