About Educational Neuroscience (Joint award with Birkbeck,Univesity of London), MA, MSc - at University College London (UCL)

This masters degree will:

  • introduce methods and findings from the emerging field of educational neuroscience
  • enable students from a variety of backgrounds to appraise and apply these findings
  • develop understanding of key issues in educational neuroscience and the application of neuroscience to education
  • develop your understanding of research processes and give you the opportunity to undertake research in educational neuroscience.

This programme leads to a joint award from the Institute of Education Department of Psychology and Human Development and Birkbeck Department of Psychological Sciences, and is taught across the two adjacent sites. Birkbeck administer the application process.

Entry requirements

1. Students are normally required to have a minimum overall IELTS score of 7.0 for direct entry, with a score of no lower than 6.0 for writing and 6.5 for reading. 2. A good first degree or equivalent.
