Alternative Qualifications

  • Overseas qualifications and access programmes will be considered on an individual basis.

  • Applications welcomed from students with alternative qualifications and relevant work experience.


Advanced Entry

Students with a BA Law and Management degree from Robert Gordon University may enter the Law LLB (Hons) course at year 3, allowing two degrees (one Hons) to be obtained within five years.

From academic year 2009-2010, students who have entered the BA Law and Management degree as an Advanced Entrant into Year 3 will, upon successful completion of that year to a certain standard, have the opportunity to directly enter Year 2 of the LLB (Hons) degree.

Placements and accreditations

This course is accredited by the Law Society of Scotland, which is a key factor for those wishing to enter the law profession in Scotland. Recognition by the Faculty of Advocates has also recently been obtained.

UK/EU Students

  • New students: £1820 for academic year 2010/11


If you are from Scotland or the EU you are not liable to pay fees and should apply to SAAS for funding.

Alternatively, if you are from England, Wales, or Northern Ireland you should apply to the appropriate funding body.
