Work placement or study abroad (optional)You can gain valuable industry experience by applying to take a 12-month work placement in a UK or overseas business as part of your degree.
We have recently placed students in companies including: IBM, Disney, Procter & Gamble, Nissan, Marks & Spencer, Unilever, Accenture, Cummins, GSK and Microsoft.
You'll receive support from the Business School's dedicated Placement Officer and the University's Careers Service to help you find a placement that matches your skills and interests.
Alternatively, you can study abroad between Stages 2 and 3 through the Erasmus exchange scheme. You'll spend the year studying at one of our partner universities in Europe. We currently have partners in: Denmark; Finland; France; Holland; Norway; Spain; and Sweden.

Assessment methods
Assessment is mainly through unseen examinations at the end of each semester (January and June). A proportion of your marks will also be based on in-course assessment of essays and projects.
