The Bachelor of Business and Associate Degree of Business have been developed through research and in consultation with industry specialists and academic experts from Australian businesses and universities. The degrees are designed to provide students with the relevant discipline knowledge, foundational skills, career management skills, communication skills and technical skills needed to access a wide range of jobs, carve new career pathways or work effectively as independent entrepreneurs.
Students in the Bachelor degree can focus their studies on one of three specialisation streams, Management, Marketing or Entrepreneurship, by selecting a recommended suite of electives in years 2 and 3.
In the first year of the Degree, students will gain foundation knowledge and skills that focus their attention on the basics of business and on their personal and professional development. In the second year, students will extend their study of business basics and begin to personalise their course by specialising in one of the three streams. In the third year, students will develop a deeper understanding of advanced business concepts in their core subjects and apply their cumulative knowledge in two capstone subjects.
As a domestic/local student, you may be eligible for a Victorian Government subsidy. Check with the institution if you want more information about this.
