As a chaplain, you can make a difference in the lives of others. Chaplains help people work through life issues, assist in times of crisis and provide a safe place for people to share their story.
The Certificate IV in Chaplaincy & Pastoral Care is a nationally accredited qualification that will equip you to provide a high standard of care in a range of areas within chaplaincy.
Starting with the Chaplaincy Essentials units, students will develop targeted communication skills to give support to those needing pastoral care in a range of areas, including grief and loss and mental health issues. The Chaplaincy Essentials units are delivered face-to-face in a 3 day or 5 day intensive format, where you develop your new skills while being supported by your trainers and classmates.
We have a range of new electives to equip you for some of the biggest issues faced today. Our electives allow you to specialise in your field of interest, in subject areas as varied as Domestic Violence, Homelessness, Problem Gambling, Drugs & Alcohol, Aged Care and Young People. These electives are available to be completed online or as a Professional Development Day with accredited training option. Click HERE to apply for the PD Day Electives.
Our trainers have extensive experience in chaplaincy and pastoral care, with an in-depth understanding of how to implement theory into real, practical care. Hear their inspiring stories as they share some of the remarkable experiences they have had the privilege of being involved in.
Study chaplaincy and be transformed as you gain a greater understanding of yourself and those around you. Empower others and play an important part in building healthier communities by pursuing a rewarding career in chaplaincy.
